The energy of March Madness is heating up in some metro Detroit workplaces.
"I'd be lying if I said it's not on my mind," said Dan Radionoff, team lead account executive at United Shore Financial Services LLC. "I usually keep an internet tab open to check scores every half hour or so."
TVs at United Shore's office in Troy will be tuned to the games, especially if Michigan State University plays during the workday. The mortgage wholesale giant is led by Mat Ishbia, who was a member of Spartans team that won the 2000 championship.
United Shore is putting its own spin on March Madness to boost performance. The company hosts a bracket-style tournament in which breaks its sales staff into four different regions to compete head-to-head to record the most loan submissions.
